1890s Regal-made Arion Parlor Guitar
Here is another sweet Lyon & Healy guitar from the late1800s. This is an Arion (see stamp inside the sound hole).
It was of better quality than most of the other lesser brands like Jupiter, Columbus, etc. The Arion is actually three-quarters size.
It features spruce top, quarter sawn oak back and sides, brass hardware, ivory nut, bridge and tuning keys, no dot markers. This guitar is in very good condition considering its age. Theres a near-invisible hairline crack above the sound hole. Top is a bit has some dipping. The guitar has some age and wear and tear thru out But the guitar does have excellent action..
