1936, Gibson L-5 Acoustic Archtop Guitar, Great Action &Tone Made in Kalamazoo USA

  
For your consideration is this 1936 Gibson L-5. It was made in the USA, in 1936 or 37.

It's in great playing condition. The action and intonation are near perfect. I was owned by Grandma Opal Revert, One the early founders of Beatty Nevada.

She used it to play for the troops during WWII at the Mizpah Hotel (which is now considered haunted) The condition is great, but the fretboard markers have been removed and the L-5 markings on the tailpiece piece have also been removed. I believe that someone was planning to personalize this guitar , but never finished the procedure? On the plus side, if you'd like to personalize this guitar, the job is already halfway done. It's my intention to bring this guitars looks to it's former glory. It has a chip off the back of the headstock (pictured) A couple of the frets are worn down a little, but they don't affect the tone or playability, but will need to be looked at down the road.

It comes with a beautiful, original Gibson tweed case. More photos are available upon request.
