1970 Framus Atlantic Semi Acoustic 335 Electric Guitar Made in Germany

Lovely vintage Framus Atlantik 5/113. Stamped 70 D on back of headstock so dates to 1970s. This was one of Germanys answers to the 335 and its certainly a quirky immitation but we think its cool as you like. This guitar has been ised and has some things to note. Some touched up areas to the finish and possibly the whole headstck face has been overfinished in black and the logo over painted white.

The tuners are replacements but do the job. Possible refret, they are medium/jumbo frets and we are not sure if they are original or not. Plastic jack input nut - possibly non original.

As far as we know all else is original including the trem arm. The electrics work well, the P90s sound killer and it plays nicely (as much as these ever did). There are marks , small indents , dings surface marks and scratches in places. Its a pre owned, played guitar. The neck is the usual Framus multi laminate and its bolt on with'Made in Germany' stamped on the neck plate.

3 way switch, master vol and tone. We really like this guitar and it will be a shame to see it go. Its a cool , unusual take on the 335 and a decent guitar for player or collector alike. International buyers welcome - please message for quote - Collection in person welcome.
