1973 Vintage Signet GF402 Acoustic Guitar Indian Rosewood Made in Japan

  
Sigma GF-402 made in Japan 1973 imported by Selma Musical Instruments. Spruce top with nice tight grains appears to be solid top looking at the grains. Indian Rosewood back and sides laminate. Just completed a neck reset and set up.

With new saddle and strings. Action is low and easy to play. Sound is loud, bright with good sustain. May be great for blue grass playing.

The only issue is a dent in the lower bout bottom side. About the diameter of a golf ball indent.

Does not affect sound or play and out of sight. Also a small chip off corner of head stock. This guitar has a few light dings and scratches, but overall other than the dent is in. It is 47 years old, so is not going to look like new. Mother of pearl inlays on fret board.

The top both in front of the bridge and behind. Is almost as flat as a new guitar. These were sort of a copy of the martin d28 style with a quality build. Info available from 1970 to 1973.
