On the solid spruce top, the original rosewood bridge sits flush on all edges, with no untoward deflection of the top behind the bridge. The saddle is near its lowest point of adjustment, yet the action is infinitely playable in every register.
The body features a full 14" lower bout and a body depth of 4 3/8". Cosmetically, the original nitro lacquer gloss finish is well preserved, showing only a few scattered minor scratches and marks in the finish, but nothing deep or substantial.
The neck profile is also in great condition, with only a couple inconsequential shallow marks in the finish. As the photos show, this is a particularly clean and crack-free vintage Guild with only light wear on the guitar as a whole, performance-ready for stage or studio use. The original chipboard case is included. Check out our shop "Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, " and please let us know if we can answer any questions!
