Arbiter J130 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar early 1970s. In excellent condition for its age and this is one of the first batch which has the adjustable saddle (a very rare version). Classic early 70s Arbiter j130 jumbo acoustic guitar. High grade Japanese craftsmanship made in the'lawsuit'era at the Matsumoko factory in Japan and imported to the UK by a London company CBS/Arbiter Ltd. Clean interior construction and made to look and sound like a 70s Gibson sj200 complete with beautiful mother of Pearl crown inlays and period moustache bridge.
Authentic comfortable C shape neck. 3 piece back with stunning marquetry. It has a killer tone, a real players guitar with a lovely full sound and low action. Has to be played and heard to believe but this really has one of the best tones I have heard from a vintage guitar. Had a recent pro Luthier set up including fret dress and new bone nut and bone saddle. Does have minor lacquer crazing to head stock as in the old days they used nitro cellulose lacquer which cracks (crazes) especially on Gibsons but nothing beats nitrocellulose for sheer beauty (patina) it gives a guitar of a certain vintage.
