Made in the USA-Sears and Roebuck Space Dot acoustic guitar. Model 319.12120000 (3731 1212) Fun vintage piece.

Made by Harmony or Silvertone. This is a fully functional and structurally sound parlor size guitar with no major defects.

No cracks or problems with wood beyond the wear that comes with age. Neck relief has a slight bow as it should.

Fun to have around to play, as a wall hanger, a conversation piece or as a gift to a player who may have had one of these when they were young. These were offered by Sears and Roebuck and got the nickname "space dot" because of the headstock symbol which looks like two space rings but actually is an S and an R connected together. I have read that these guitars were made out of solid wood.

I can not verify the exact tone woods used but regardless has a pretty nice volume and sound unique and its own. These guitars were made by Harmony or Silvertone for others to place there brand on.

Lots of Americana in this instrument. I cannot find anything that needs or warrants repair. Bridge appears to have been reattached at some point and is solid. New strings have been installed.
