Guild D-25 M 1978 Vintage Mahogany Acoustic Guitar. Brilliant 70s USA made Guild D-25M model, dating from 1978 as per serial. A highly sought after model with modest appointments, including a bound mahogany body, arched back, large tortoiseshell pickguard and subtle Guild logo to headstock.

It has clearly been played and used frequently but also well looked after. It features general signs of playing wear, eg the occasional small ding / mark and general swirling etc to the finish on the body, neck and head. Some playing wear under strings near bridge. There is the odd notable ding / mark here and there e. G, to side of headstock and back of body as pictured, but its generally clean and appears to be 100% original.

It has a good action and neck angle, and doesnt appear to have had a reset or any work. Theres what appears to be some mild glue runoff to the fretboard / body joint, and Id hazard a guess this is from the original joint - no sign of any work or modifications.

Frets are in good condition with some wear, but theres plenty of life in them should you opt for a re-crown / feet dress etc. Includes non original hard case which fits snugly and protects the guitar well.
