Here for consideration, a so called'lawsuit' era replica of a 1960's Gibson Hummingbird, a beauty. This is an Ibanez made guitar, branded'Antoria' for the UK market and originally produced in the world renowned FujiGen Gakki facility shed! In the halcyon days of Japanese guitar craft, the 1970's. This bird is actually doing a pretty good mime act of the original Gibbo version, and isn't so far off in terms of her distinctive tone and the classic'look'. In fact this thing is more Gibson than some Gibsons! Condition is quite fine for the years, in very good to excellent cosmetic order with some small dings and traces of us as perhaps we all have, we have restored this piece to our usual high standard. Structurally very good as a vintage with no appreciable belly of the soundboard or suchlike and the action is very respectable at around 3mm at 12th fret - feels medium low to play and comparatively easy on the hands.

We have set the action for optimum tone, however there is some room on the truss rod adjustment and a small amount left on the saddle should you wish to bring it down a bit in the future, or just switch down to lighter gauge of strings, 12's currently fitted. All original, no apparent repairs. Original Japanese GoToh tuners (excellent condition). Spruce top, Mahogany body (laminated construction). Features borrowed from ol' Gibson!

This thing really is 90% of the real deal at 30% of the price, can't really say fairer.
