Ovation Elite Special AX semi-acoustic guitar made in America, its NOT a Celebrity or an Applause. Very slight wear on fret board and frets.

Neck joint is perfect See pics. In an effort to ensure the guitar arrives without damage it would be wrapped with bubble wrap, placed in its hard case, then bubble wrapped again. Made In New Hartford CT. With original Ovation hard case. I bought this guitar used about 8 years ago, from a local guitar shop, it was used then. You might notice there is plectrum wear which was there when I bought it. I have used another piece of purpose shaped wooden leaf work which matches the shapes and colours of others on the sound board w hich blends in perfectly with the overall look of the guitar. Also an piece of transparent pick guard has been added which covers and protects more of the pick guard area. This does not affect the integrity, playability or sound of the guitar.

The guitar and case have some marks only reflecting its usage and age. Guitar comes with original Ovation hard case. These guitars are really great to play acoustically and or plugged in. The action is very good which enhances playability.

Deep contour body with cutaway. Mahogany one-piece neck (satin finish). Ovation® OP-40 preamp with tuner and light indicators, mid-shift, notch-filter, pre-shape, notch in-out, adjustable volume, bass, mid and treble with low-battery light, new battery installed.

Also Ovation OP40 users guide, Quality assurance card and Ovation owner's manual and registration card as seen in pics. Rosewood fretboard with pearl dots on the visible side of the neck. 22 frets on high E-string up to high D note. String height at 12th fret = 3mm.
