USED Ovation CC267 6 string electro acoustic guitar Made in Korea. Here we have a beat up electro acoustic guitar, not sure on the age but suspected at maybe 20 years old. Here we have a classic Ovation, very popular guitar in its day. Ovation as a brand were massive in the 70's, 80's and early 90's then they just fell out of fashion.

Rant - optional read: This is an electro acoustic guitar. Some people call them'semi acoustic'.

It's NOT a semi acoustic guitar. A semi acoustic guitar will usually be a slim bodied ELECTRIC guitar with a solid lump of wood running through the middle and'F' shaped holes in the hollowed out'wings' of the guitar. THOSE are semi-hollowbodies or semi solid guitars and are widely known as semi acoustic guitars.

OK, confusion cleared up lol Condition. 6/10 Main issues: The neck has been broken and repaired at some point. It's a solid repair but clearly visible from the rear. Stable and holds it's tune. The rear of the body has some sort of'patch' repair. Looks like maybe a hole that's been patched up. It's not actually very noticeable because it's on the bottom at the rear.

The front of the guitar is in relatively good condition with only a few other minor scratches and dents. The rest of the rear is in fair condition.

Neck: The fingerboard is not too bad. It has had some dirt and grease build up over the years. Nothing too serious but worth a mention. The frets only have the most minimal signs of wear and tear. Electrics - tested and working fine but as with anything electrical as it ages you will hear crackles and buzzes from the switches and pots, this is normal.

At the moment, when we tested it all seemed to be well. Playability - this guitar has had a full service and has been re-strung with a new set of 11-52 Fender Strings.
