Ovation Deep bowl electro acoustic guitar 1980s. I think it is based on a Custom Legend. It has no model numbers.

Ovation USA inside the sound hole. This was made for Mick Hucknall of Simply Red. He was gifted it from Mick at the end of a tour years ago.

He knew I played guitar and asked if I would take it in. My dad has always had a Deep bowl Ovation so I took it in. It has had minimal use , I only really use it if I take a guitar away on holiday as it has the strongest case out of all my guitars. It is a proper Hard case.

I have used the case more than the guitar as its so study. Condition wise it is showing signs of ageing ie you can feel the grain of the wood on the top where the laquar has sunk over time. It does have the odd mark and small scratches. The volume pot off the electrics is missing but the shaft is still there and can be used etc.

Some pitting in the gold of the machine heads. Its what you would expect for an almost 40 year old guitar.
