Yamaha's traditional L series. The L series started as the top line going over the FG series from 1974 to that point.Custom models from L51 to L54 will be available in 1975, which will be called L Four Heavenly King. This time in stock is L-51 and L-7S, which corresponds to the younger brother of L-12S, which has been produced as a popular price range model for L-54 with a very small population. In the presence of the successor to the FG-700S, it is a rare model of Yamaha's color that is Gibson-conscious, such as the adoption of an adjustable bridge to the pattern PG! Laminate spruce TOP, Laminate African African Mahogany SIDE & BACK, African Mahogany NECK, Ebony Fingerboard & Bridge, Original Adjustable Saddle, Measured 44mm Nut, Yamaha Original Western Body with 651mm scale. The biggest feature of this model is the PG and the bridge. The Gibson aware adjustable bridge and the butterfly dance PG give a striking impression! It seems to imitate this PG, Hummingbird, but it feels like Humming Butterfly or Flying Butterfly (laughs). This Yamaha PG design is great with a design that feels like a sum but still unique despite looking at FG-500S and L-54, one of the Four Tenors! Personally I think it is better than the original design. The sound is like a sustaining sound sticking in your ear with a fairly open tone with an edgy effect. It is a bright sound that feels so good that there are no overtones, a refreshing sound, a transparent sound, or an honest sound. You can enjoy an adjustable sound that sounds like a traditional L series and feels just like a bone. If it is said that it sounds like the J-45 and Hummingbird in the 60's Adjustable Bridge, it also feels like, and it sounds like it sounds louder. It sounds like the sound of the plywood body J-160E gets louder.
The condition of the instrument can be spotted slightly small nicks and scratches, and sure, etc. But it keeps a wonderfully beautiful condition considering it from the model year! The nicks near the end of the body and back and around the back of the 9th fret of the neck are white in paint, and it can be seen even if they are slightly apart, but if you look closely at the light you can see it otherwise As it is only a minute flaw to the extent that you notice, it can be said that the condition is the best and beautiful condition as a guitar of this age! Neck condition is also good and clean straight, with the current chord height on the 12th fret, it has the best setting of 6 mm side 2.5 mm, 1 mm side 2.0 mm.
The adjustable saddle is still movable up and down, so you can set it to your preferred string height. Although the frets are somewhat reduced centering on the low frets, the height of about 60% to 70% of the original remains at the place where it is the most reduced, so there will be no worries for the present for the time being.
