Up for sale, a 1990's Guild JF65 jumbo acoustic guitar in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This discontinued, USA-made Guild was manufactured in small quantities in the Westerly, RI factory, and the quality and tone of this guitar is truly stunning, with incredible projection, sweetness, and chime from the jumbo maple body. Guild's smooth playability, exceptional build quality, and premium specifications have made their acoustics some of the most sought after on stages and in studios worldwide.

Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar and strung with phosphor bronze strings, this Guild has low action and a sound that is nothing short of stunning. The two-piece mahogany neck with maple center seam has a medium C shaped profile with moderate shoulder and limited increase in profile depth and as you travel up the bound ebony fretboard. 850 deep at the 1st fret and. The fretboard features pearl block inlays split with inverted abalone triangles for a classic Guild look, and the stock slender frets are flawless.

On the headstock, the Guild name and "G" shield logo are present and inlaid in pearl, along with a set of Grover Rotomatic tuning machines that turn very smoothly with clean gold plating. The body has a full 17 lower bout, and it's no surprise that this guitar can produce some of the sweetest tones of any Guild acoustic. The heavily figured solid maple sides are paired with a laminated, arched one-piece maple back, which also has prominent figuring consistent with the maple sides and neck profile. The original saddle has ample height, and the ebony bridge sits flush with the AAA Sitka top.

Visible through the soundhole, the original Guild label is present with handwritten model and serial number intact. Cosmetically, this is an exceedingly clean instrument with a few light scuffs in the pick path on the bass side of the soundhole and only a few isolated tiny nicks and faint finish scratches in the clear coat on the guitar as a whole. The neck profile is equally pristine with the original smooth gloss finish. The original Guild hardshell case is included.
