Alvarez 5056 "Tree of Life" acoustic guitar 1970s made in Japan & vintage hard case. An absolutely stunning MIJ Vintage 1970s Alvarez 5056 "Tree of Life" acoustic guitar. It is higher in quality and craftsmanship than many of the higher end Taylors and Martins of its era and class, its handmade in Japan from the best aged woods. These guitars have two versions , ones signed by the master luthier and ones werent signed , this one was signed and aged pretty well , has been played , not perfect but its still great looking and plays like a dream. Guitar has been polished , fretboard oiled and new strings sound great. The inlays are gorgeous, of course, and it SOUNDS incredible with new Martin strings. The guitar has some minor bumps, scuffs , scratches and dings so its marked as good although looks more like very good. Frets are good, no buzzing , flat neck with great action on the strings , no cracks anywhere , bone nut and saddle , bridge is firm , original vintage tuners and guitar pins , comes with vintage hard case. May vary especially if you are on the east coast.
