The Blue Bell RB1000, highly acclaimed by Carl Jackson, was the first 5-string banjo produced by Blue Bell. Weather King (11 H) head. Maple bridge with ebony top. I bought it new in 1978 and used it until 3 years ago. There is some tarnishing on the metal parts, but I wiped it with a cloth after playing and put it in a case, so it is overall clean as you can see in the pictures.
There is a pencil mark on the head and a chord holder for pickups, a tape mark on the back of the head to prevent the 5th string from sounding too loud when picking with a claw hammer, and Velcro tape used when installing the volume controller on the resonator. A capotast for banjo and a bridge each will be attached. This item is in the category "Musical Instruments & Gear\Vintage Musical Instruments\Vintage String\Folk & World\Banjos".
