If any guitar is imitated, surely the'62 sunburst Strat has got to be at the top of the list.

The look is beyond classic and is in a genre all of it's own. This one was created at the Fuji-Gen factory in Japan which is famous for craftsmanship and impeccable quality, which is definitely on display here. It feels extremely comfortable in the hands with what Fender calls an Oval Shape neck profile, that could also be referred to as a Medium Chunky C.

It has a beautiful and dark brown, chocolate colored rosewood fingerboard of a quality seldom seen today, outside of the most expensive Custom Shop models. It is no secret that E Serial numbered Japanese Fenders are highly sought after and held in the highest regards among knowledgeable Fender Enthusiasts. The quality and craftsmanship is just perfect and they really captured some magic between 1984-87. The Japanese made staggered pole ceramic reissue pickups offer classic vintage tones and warm mellow sounds that go hand in hand with this icon, with plenty of spank.

It's an easy player and has all the mojo that you crave. The Guitar Dude is a tone connoisseur, and I love the classic sound of these Fender pickups! The good ones get played and this one is no different, while it exhibits some typical normal play wear that add to authentic Mojo and vibe, this Strat is in pretty excellent cosmetic condition. It has some tiny scattered dings, dents, nicks and surface scratches (mainly along the edges), but nothing that overly stands out (See Pictures).

All the electronics work flawlessly. Neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod works with no issues Intonation is spot-on It has been professionally set up with nice low action & new American made strings.
