This is a David J. Hodson model 503GN oval hole/petite bouche, N°. 66, built 1995; see the photograph of the inside/underneath of the tailpiece. Hodson was an admired English luthier who built guitars for Babik Reinhardt, Fapy Lafertin, Lollo Meier and other well know gypsy jazz guitarists. This guitar has a spruce top and a maple three-piece neck with a very decorative mother of pearl purfling in the body, back, headstock & bridge.
