Epiphone EJ200 VS Acoustic Guitar made by Samick-Korea 1994 Very Rare guitar just like the one Noel used back in the day. The early Korean EJ200 is much sought after by players for very good reason, they are great!

I have played many over the years and in my humble opinion none of them have come close to the sound, feel and vibe of mine ; For a 26 year old guitar it is in fantastic condition and comes with the original faux alligator skin case with retro green fur lining, which is very cool. The case has a few scuffs but is in good working order.

All the latches work and it protects the guitar well. It has always lived in the case when not being played. The guitar itself has no issues and plays like a dream with a low superb action and fantastic sound.

The guitar is very loud, responsive and versatile with a great tone and fast neck. A few years ago I took it to top luthier Gordon White at "Single Coil Guitar Repairs" in Leeds where he dressed the frets, did a full set up and installed a handmade bone nut, saddle and bridge pins. Gordon is a brilliant luthier and looks after many professional musicians guitars including Richard Hawley and Chris Martin to name a few. There are few cosmetic chips to the finish on the headstock and one on the back lower bout which I have tried to show in the photographs. The pickguard has faded a little but I never replaced it as I think it adds to the guitars vintage vibe.

The guitar has aged beautifully over the years with yellowed bindings and great sunburst. I have always been a fan of Epiphone guitars but never liked the long thin "canoe paddle" headstock, this one has the old school shorter one which of course makes no difference to sound of the guitar.
