Epiphone USED Emperor made in 1941 Too bitter one! Some items are not eligible In 1935, Emperor was born as a top model to compete with Gibson's Super400 model. It is a big body with a width of about 18.5 inches and 46.7 cm.

After investigating the serial number and specifications, it seems to be made in 1941. It is a stately individual that wears a weather check all over its body. Specification The body is made of spruce top, and the sides and back are maple with a beautiful flame.

The fingerboard is the highest quality rosewood with black eyes. The nut width is approximately 44mm. It is an early specification with an inlay where the truss rod cover will be applied later.

Rod adjustment is done by inserting a wrench from under the joint fingerboard. Bridge Bridge base is rosewood. The bridge base seems to be original as the serial number is stamped on the back.

It may have been cut for adjustment, but the bridge seems to be original. It seems that the tailpiece has been replaced with a similar shape. Also, a shim is sandwiched between the tailpieces.

Condition There are places where the binding on the neck heel, back left and right, top right f hole is peeling off. The tailpiece has probably been replaced. The end pin may not be original either. There is a bend in the pickguard.

In addition, the shape of the screw is different on the top and bottom. There is a possibility that the front upper left corner of the joint is touched up and colored. 5th image It is almost invisible to normal visual inspection.

There are many other dents and pains, but I hope you can enjoy this as a taste of vintage instruments. The neck is normal and slightly warped. There is no chattering or clogging that can be a concern when playing. The truss rod is almost full in the forward warp correction direction.

It has been refretted by Linat. Depending on the location, such as the 2nd string 3rd fret, there are about 60% remaining frets. The string height is about 3.6 mm on the 6th string side and about 2.6 mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret. The bridge is lowered almost to the limit. It may seem a little expensive, but considering the era in which it was manufactured, isn't it within the acceptable range? If you think the tension is too strong, it might be a good idea to tune it down a bit and play it. The neck paint was probably stripped off intentionally, perhaps for the sake of smoothness, the feel of raw wood, or the sound.

A non-genuine hard case is included. The previous owner didn't use it for a while, but it is presumed that it has been thoroughly used since it was manufactured with traces of customization and scars. It is not a one-o-owner product. I would like to expect that the situation will be stable in the future. The dead vintage tones and the smooth, fat, and rich sound are the most addictive.

That said, it's not as easy to play as modern instruments. However, once you get used to playing it, you will be able to enjoy, enjoy, and use the sound that only this guitar can produce. No matter what instrument or player you're with, you'll get the unique presence of this guitar making sounds.
