Gibson L-7 made in 1951. Arched top model with a 17 inch wide maple body. Arched top guitar (pick guitar) produced from 1932 to 1956.
This example was made in 1951 with a 17-inch wide body. The pickguard and tail piece have been replaced, and the refret history is also visible. There are dents, scratches, abrasions, weather checks, cloudy paint, and cloudy metal parts, there are worn areas of the paint on the back of the neck, small chips on the back edge of the headstock, and some metal parts. You can also check for rust and dullness. Some of the dents and scratches mentioned above appear to have been touched up with a magic marker, and there are also marks where something like a rectangular sticker was pasted on the back of the headstock, but considering the model year. It can be said that it maintains a relatively good appearance. The neck is in proper condition and the truss rod has been confirmed to operate 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together, there are no dents, and about 70% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
It sounds well while giving you a vintage-like withered resonance feel. This is a book that I would recommend not only to acoustic jazz fans but also to roots music fans.
