GUILD F-40 ACOUSTIC GUITAR MADE IN NEW HARTFORD USA 2009 ANTIQUE BURST. For sale is a Guild F-40 acoustic guitar in Antique Burst a beautiful vintage style sunburst finish. One of the last Guilds to be made in New Hartford, Connecticut, USA, its serial number NM286004 dates it to October 2009. Cosmetically it is in good condition with the honest playing wear of a well gigged guitar. It has dings, chips and scratches in the finish; the head stock is chipped along the top and there is a chip in the finish where a stringwinder has been carelessly used please look at the photos.

Fitted with high quality aftermarket Waverly tuners these add to the look and tuning stability of the guitar. It plays beautifully and has a great setup; there are no breaks, cracks or other structural issues. It has its original Guild hardshell case, Guild booklet, truss rod wrench and case key.

The solid mahogany back and sides are finished in a deep red colour. This guitar has been well played in and the sound of the top has really opened up. It has a warm even tone across the strings with good definition. With the Adirondack top you can really dig in and it keeps up amazingly for a medium bodied guitar. Its great for finger style and very comfortable to play with its medium body.
