Hand Made OM Acoustic Guitar with Cedar Top and Sliding Sound Port

  
Hello and thanks for looking! This OM model is made from 90% recycled materials including Red Cedar, Tasmanian Myrtle, Redgum and Spruce. It is the cedar top which gives this guitar it's rich, woody and mellow tones. It displays warmth, volume and sustain.

Here's a short demo of picking and strumming from my facebook page. The decorative details including rosette and purflings are hand crafted from Spruce and Redgum. The fretboard inlay markers are made from found abalone and are hand spun down to size.

This guitar has been polished with shellac plus hardener to create a durable french polish finish. A feature of this instrument is the sliding door sound port, allowing you to make adjustments to the sound. This being my third guitar, please expect there to be some imperfections. These include a blemish on the bass side of the rosette (see pictures) and cosmetic flaws in the finish. Note that it is because of the imperfect nature of this instrument that it is priced to sell.

My current builds are around three times the asking price. Otherwise, this is a robust and nice sounding instrument. Guitar comes complete with Hard Shell Case. Back and Sides Tasmanian Myrtle. 14 frets to the body.
