Kimbara dreadnought acoustic 6 string guitar. These guitars were made in Japanese factories of the more famous named guitars but then badged for their importers or distributors. Kimbara were renowned for introducing low cost- high quality copies of classic guitars of the 70s to the U. This was made for the importer Fletcher Coppock & Amp, Newman (FCN) who were the first company to import these Japanese guitars.

Serial number for this guitar 01212. The guitar plays well & sounds great with a mellow tone. Aged nicely over 40 years. Nice thin neck & good frets. Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard.
