Herman Carlson Levin Model 124. Rare and vintage gorgeous parlor guitar! Made in Sweden in 1955! Fully working and already playable.

The action is a bit high. It's still comfortable, but we are not luthiers or technicians to know if this is perfect, but. Probably you should consider an intervention to lower the action a bit. The guitar comes in very good condition for its age. With some super minor scratches and traces of use.

On the body, due to the years, some beautiful "streaks" have been created in the paint. Which make the guitar even more beautiful. The back of the body is really great. There is an old crack on the back of the body but it is closed. So it seems to have been fixed by the previous owner (probably many years ago).

We therefore report it only on an aesthetic level, but does not affect the sound of the guitar. An incredible instrument with 70 years of life. This is a very beautiful vintage guitar.

And it has more volume and sounds sweeter than expected. The back of the body is incredible!

Super flamed and in super conditions for its age! It surely feels, plays, smells and sounds like a Levin. This is a cool and gorgeous instrument that with an easy luthier general check or set-up can shine again!

At the moment the guitar uses nylon strings, but its best sound is probably with metal strings. Extremely rare and highly collectable!

Spruce top with undetermined bracing. Flame birch back & sides. Nickel plated tuners with plastic buttons. Old Levin guitars are some of the best kept secrets out there, and when they're in good condition like this one they'll inspire you to no end. This is your chance to get your hands on an extremely rare guitar: these don't often come up for sale... Don't miss your chance! Very hard to let this one go, but it's not getting enough use and it's just time to move on.

This Levin Model 124 probably need to be checked by a luthier. Oil tuners, change strings, check the action, etc. Lovers of the Levin brand already know it: the old Levin guitars are among the best guitars ever produced in the 1900s.
