Luthier Binding Cutter Jig Made in the UK

  

Binding Cutter Jig will allow you to make a perfectly squared binding channel on your guitars or ukuleles as the instrument rests on the binding cradle, the jig cuts always at 90°. Made with best quality guide rails we could find. The router base is 3d printed (with increased interior density for better strength, it takes 16hrs to print one) and compatible with 3 most common palm routers in the UK, Makita RT0700 and Katsu routers or DeWalt D26200 or Bosch GkF600.

Please note that the router and housing are not included in this sale. You will receive items as seen in the first photo with all fixings inlcuded. The cradle will come unassembled as you might want to place fixings differently to accommodate your builds. This means that you will have to drill 4 holes and screw in threaded inserts (Supplied). Also you will have to screw the plastic router carrier onto the guide rails.

These are just a simple allen screws. Quality binding channel guided router bit sets. Shank diameter: 1/4 or 6.35mm. 3 flute angled at 6°. Tungsten carbide blades for long life.

2.5mm Allen wrench for change of bearings is included. These are high quality cutters with tungsten carbide blades for long life.

The blades are angled at 6° which will reduce tear out and leave smoother cut. Due to limited availability of bearing sizes, it wasn't possible to produce one cutter for all rebates (like famous American supplier) and these will be supplied in two different sets. Each set will come with 5 different sizes bearings which will allow cutting of the binding channels in 0.5mm increments. Set one - 1,1.5,2,2.5 and 3mm.

Set two - 3.5,4,4.5,5 and 5.5mm (SET 2 IS OUT OF STOCK).
