Magnificent Kasuga F-200 Folk size OM style beauty c. 1970 Made in Japan

  
Three day only sale, good luck! This is an exceptionally rare and cool little guitar styled on the OM sized American guitars of the day with some added Japanese bling!

Part of a collection of well looked after collection of Kasuga's that we have available, Kasuga made some nice pieces in the late 60's and early 70's. This is one of their higher grade models with a rosewood construction and mother of pearl inlayed pickguard and logo, seldom seen for sale. The build is laminated, yet quality materials, not of the like seen today.

No repairs or issues, hardware is original. There is some clouding in the clear-coat, visible on the back of the guitar, typical of the era.

Supplied with a professional setup. Very good cosmetically with minimal wear.

Some traces of occasional use present and a few dings as picture. For the year the overall condition is above average.

Structurally great shape no issues. Fitted with D'Addario silk & steel's and sounding very good indeed, with a highly resonant and full tone that belies its comfortable size. Action very acceptable for a vintage at around 3mm 12th fret, feeling medium low to play. As usual for a 40+ year old the action is set at the lowest limit of adjustment (if a super low action is required then we can modify the guitar, please enquire).
