Martin 2-17 S N: 46039 Made in 1931. It was produced in the 1920s before Martin's war, and production was completed in 1938.

2-17 was so popular that it could be said to be a representative of the steel guitar models produced at that time. Soft V-shaped neck with 12 fret joints with a nut width of 45 mm. The neck and body made of mahogany play a very mellow mid-low range while having a slim size. Brazilian rosewood is used for the fingerboard bridge. The head has a throated structure and is equipped with open gear pegs. The machine head currently attached to the main body has the same shape and has been replaced with another company's product, but a genuine one is also included. The string height is set as low as 2.3 mm for the 6th string and 1.6 mm for the 1st string, and the saddle is adjusted. The frets are rubbed together and are low at about 30%, but there are no chattering or dead points and you can play without problems.

Although it can be said that it is a medal that has been active until now, about 90 years after its production, it is a stately guitar with good neck condition and perfect sound. The sound is very well-balanced from high to low, and the output is brilliantly organized. The realistic sound that cannot be imagined from the size was convincing that it has been useful for many years. Due to the condition, we are refraining from exhibiting at the store.
