Martin OM-1 Orchestra Model American Made Acoustic Guitar & Hard-case. Includes Fishman passive pick, no battery system connects through a jack connector hidden in the strap button in the rear of the guitar. Lovely player, great response and feel. You can feel it singing as you play. Warm tone with high end sparkle and resonant midrange as you would expect from a Martin 000 size. The difference between an OM and a 000 is the neck width, the OM is slightly wider to accommodate figerstyle easier, to that it doesn't work perfectly we when played with a pick! This guitar has had an interesting life! At some point a previous owner tried to make it look like a higher spec guitar.

It has upgraded Martin closed back tuners put on it and the top had been glossed, that has been removed but you can see the job has been less than perfect. There are also some run marks down the side of the guitar.

None of that effects the playability or sound, which is superb. I inherited it and was sorely tempted to keep it but I already have 3 high-end guitars that don't get played enough as it is! Get yourself a great guitar, it would make an amazing take out to sessions guitar, great sound and feel but not something you'd worry about leaving alone while you go to the bar!
