Pearl Acoustic Guitar PF-618 Made in Japan Vintage 1970's made Used from Japan. This is a rare and well-preserved vintage Pearl PF-618 acoustic guitar, likely made in the 1970s by Hayashi Gakki, the same factory where the legendary Mr.
It features an F-type (similar to 000/Triple-O size) body and boasts exceptional craftsmanship and tone quality. The guitar has some cosmetic wear such as scratches and small dings on the headstock, top, sides, and back (see photos), but retains its beautiful gloss and remains in excellent condition considering it's over 40 years old. There are no cracks or damage that affect the sound or playability. The nut and saddle have been upgraded to genuine bone, enhancing both tone and response. Truss Rod: Adjustable both ways (functioning well). Neck Condition: Almost perfectly straight. 6th string: 12F = 2.5mm / 1F = 0.45mm. 1st string: 12F = 2.0mm / 1F = 0.4mm.Bass side = 1.9mm, Center = 3.5mm, Treble side = 1.5mm. Adjustable Saddle: Yes (double adjustable), currently set to the lowest optimal height.
Lowering further would require shaving the saddle, but may cause string contact with the guide - current setup is optimal. Low frets have been leveled, allowing for smooth and comfortable playability across the neck.
