Silvertone 1454 semi acoustic guitar 1960's made in USA
A very nice Silvertone 1454 model made in the USA in the earlier sixties. And very similar to the Harmony H75 made at the same time. Its in red as were most of these with tortoiseshell pickguard and switch plate. Which really look good against the red body. The three pickups are DeArmonds.
Very desirable - each with volume and tone controls and the mini knobs which. Fit onto 1/8th inch pot stems and are also very much sought after. Knobs alone would fetch about three hundred pounds if you can find them. The guitar is a single cutaway semi acoustic, with tune-o-matic bridge on.
A wooden base and a Bigsby. It plays very well with plenty of variation.
In sound and tone available of course, with a bolt on neck and twenty fret. My collection so its now for sale.
