Sirocco Guitar Unique Design, Luthier Made in England

  

This beautiful guitar is a one-off design from luthiers Gordon Hewson and Martyn Banks of Oakwood. It has a spruce top, figured sycamore back and sides with ebony binding, floating bridge and unique lyre-shaped slotted tuners. Sadly, the Oakwood workshop closed at the end of 2019 so these fantastic instruments will no longer be built.

The floating bridge enables intonation to be adjusted for different types of string and also means less stress on the soundboard giving an clear open sound. Playability and tone is everything you would expect from this exceptional instrument.
