SUZUKI MODEL SD 390 ACOUSTIC GUITAR - MADE IN NAGOYA JAPAN - RARE & HIGHLY COLLECTABLE. This guitar was made by the. 1970's / 80's. Period unfortunately unable to find a Serial Number on guitar & hence, date.

Old vintage instrument & still has the original'Inspection label' on the rear of Headstock... & form an integral part of the. Apologies for the'reflections' on some of the Listing Photo's - due to adverse Lighting conditions & beautiful finish of the guitar..

Fret Board (Ref Photo #3). & the remainder of the guitar (Back, Sides & Neck) is in excellent overall condition , with just a f. Ew very small surface imperfections. Highly configured Solid Spruce Top (Ref Photo's # 1,5 &6). One of the best I have seen on an acoustic guitar of this level. Beautiful tight grain &'Lacing' /'Bear Claw.

The sound quality or playability of this wonderful guitar in anyway. The only modification is the upgraded String Pegs now Ebony with Brass & MOP inlays - R ef.

Photo # 5 installed when the guitar was Professionally Set Up , cleaned & checked. The guitar has a very comfy Neck profile , which makes it a delight to play , along with it's low String Action. Build quality & materials used. Was clearly based on a famous.

Unfortunately there appears to be very little information on the SD390 Model available on the Internet , despite extensive searching... - hence, any additional info. Would be gratefully received from the'Suzuki guitar experts' out there.. However, I found some useful information on the'Kiso Suzuki Violin Company' web site... Specifcation (from visual Inspection only , as unable to confirm formally). Top - Solid Sitka , or possibly Enzo Spruce? Back & Sides - Rosewood assume Laminate.. But may possibly be Solid also - appear to be conflicting opinions...

A beautifully crafted, high quality, rare guitar , in e xcellent overall original condition , which plays & sounds incredible. These guitars are rarely offered for sale, being highly regarded & hence, now very difficult to find (especially in this very fine condition).
