The guitar is Hand-made by Takamine, and features a solid spruce top, with X top bracing, Maple back and sides, a Venetian cut-away, Ebony fingerboard, Ivory binding and Mother of pear inlays. Takamine is a trusted brand in the music industry that is known for producing exceptional guitars and this is one of their very best. The guitar is suitable for anyone looking for an electro-acoustic 12 string guitar with a unique sound. The full size (JUMBO) makes it easy to play and the cutaway design provides easy access to the frets.

This guitar is perfect for musicians of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals, however it is a professional guitar and should be regarded as such. It comes with an arch back case specifically made for this instrument and a high performance CPT-3 cool tube pick-up system as well as a Palathetic under saddle pick-up that can be adjusted every which way and is unequaled in the industry. It was imported by myself from Japan and then put into storage for future use, so the maple wood is well seasoned and sounds superbly aged. Everything on it, is as new, although the strings are original, and for a twelve string guitar the action and playability is top notch. It may also be the only one of its kind in England, ie a cool tube inside a twelve-string.

Although there are other versions of this guitar now, they don't have the CTP-3, or use the same woods etc. This sale is subject to (in person pick-up only), as this guitar is certainly too good to post. Takamine's P6JC-12 jumbo cutaway 12-string model is loud and forceful, with a resonant solid spruce top with "X" top bracing for maximum volume, a solid flame maple back and flame maple sides, a convenient Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard, and elegant ivory body binding with black and white purfling and mother-of-pearl rosette. Other performance-enhancing features include the split bone saddle provides more accurate intonation, while bridge pin positioning optimizes break angle to improve sustain and presence. Premium design appointments include an ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and mother-of-pearl "snowflake" inlays, a black headcap, gold tuners with pearl buttons, a natural bone nut and gloss brown sunburst finish. The P6JC-12 comes complete with a premium archtop hardshell case.
