Taylor Grand Symphony 2006 made in USA Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood

  
2006 Taylor GS - Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood. Not to be confused with the new GS Mini's - this is a full-size high-end guitar that was made in the USA. Introduced in 2006, the Grand Symphony was developed to deliver a larger, more robust dynamic range with greater volume. With a bigger overall body size than the Grand Auditorium, The GS certainly delivers on that goal with rich, deep bass, strong midrange, and balanced treble frequencies that respond phenomenally when strummed, yet maintain a rich clarity when fingerpicked.

This guitar is an absolute powerhouse from top to bottom, but can handle any playing style thrown at it with ease. I've owned this guitar from new but due to a finger injury I'm streamlining my equipment. I've always been much more of an electric guitar player so despite being 18 years old this guitar has been chronically underplayed and has mostly lived in its case. It's a lovely sounding and playing guitar, used for very few gigs and a bit of home recording, it has been kept in a dry smoke free environment. I've also installed thin pick guard.

Condition is very good, there are some very small nicks (shown in one of the pictures where I'm pointing at it), there's a bit of "blooming" of the lacquer on the head stock (also shown). The hardware is blemish free. Comes with original and plush hard case which is in good condition.

Indian rosewood back and sides. 20-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Rosewood peghead overlay with pearl "Taylor" logo. Gold tuners and strap pegs. 16-1/4" lower bout, 4-1/2" body depth at endblock.

With brown faux snakeskin hard case (purple lining) - in good condition. The guitar can be tried out in North Greenwich, London.
